When you save / create an order, give the app a few seconds to process and upload your information

VERY IMPORTANT TIPS
First and foremost, our users are a close-knit community. Phlatbed is the highest paying gig economy company as long as you operate within our guidelines.
Tap the search button to see newly posted jobs. You can search up to 300 miles of you. To adjust your search radius, tap on Menu - Settings.
Share Phlatbed across your social media channels. This creates more jobs in your area.
If the job does not have enough details, you may bid the highest amount possible
Read jobs thoroughly before bidding! If you can't complete a job, do NOT bid so that you don't get banned.
Add profile pictures. Customers only choose drivers with full profiles with pictures (and vehicle pictures)
You can also view the customer profile by tapping on their profile picture.

Make sure your phone number is accurate in the app. Customers must able to reach you easily
Only Bid on jobs you CAN complete per customer specification (especially the date & time specified)
If you bid on jobs you cannot complete, this impacts your customer, and you may be banned permanently

You are responsible for to ensuring the proper coverage, tools, and availability or liability by providing this service independently to your customer. Phlatbed is not a carrier, broker, or organized labor.
Here is how to create an order (including a short video clip)
One way dispositions i.e. dump runs work the same way. Post the job, pick a driver, items are picked up, confirm, and provide feedback!Average junk removal price suggestions range from $80 for small items to $400 for multiple large items. Generally, most junk removals are priced at $120 per 3 medium sized items. For example, a mattress, couch, and box spring together would be around $200. Whereas a dining table with 4 chairs would be $80 - $150. Our drivers will pick up your items and haul it away to the dump / transfer station and handle everything with no hassles.
You may receive multiple bids, and some may be higher because the driver is very highly rated with multiple completed jobs. This is always a good thing because it underscores our service guarantee.
Our drivers work around your schedule, and they are always available.

Communication between Customer and Driver
As a Customer:
Yes. You are able to communicate with drivers that bid on your order.
Also, when you accept a driver, you are also able to see their direct contact information by tapping on their profile picture. You will see their full contact information in his/her app profile - cell phone number, email etc.

Simply Tap "View Drivers" and Accept the driver of your choice.
After Accepting a Driver - tap on the driver profile and you will have immediate direct access to the driver, including cell phone number ,email etc.
The driver will also have direct access to you as well.
You name your price! I.e. how much you’re willing to pay for moving help. We have kept it simple! This way you know exactly what your budget is to get your item from point A to point B. It’s that simple! Drivers will respond along the price you put forward, and you select which driver is the best match for your request.

Drivers get paid at the end of every job. No more waiting for payment cycles. It's very important for you to connect your payment account where you will receive payments. This would be your checking account. This can also be a debit card linked to your bank account where payments will be deposited into at the end of every payment cycle. Debit/Credit cards may take a few days (usually 2 days) since payment goes to the card on file, and your bank may take another day or two to reconcile and post to your account.
IMPORTANT: Drivers must mark the delivery as Delivered AT THE DELIVERY LOCATION. you MUST be at the delivery location for the delivery button to activate. Failure to do so will result in an incomplete delivery.
Profile links.
IMPORTANT: All drivers need to set up their Stripe payment in order to bid on job orders and receive payment for completed jobs. This is done via the "Connect to Stripe" link in the profile menu.
Fill out the fields, and the section that asks for a url, you may put your website link or facebook link, or LinkedIn, or any of your social profile links.
Payment is sent to you immediately you complete delivery. We release payment automatically upon delivery completion. If it's on the weekend or after hours (after 2PM per banking regulations), your financial institution will post to your account the next 1 - 3 business days depending on who your bank is. The app status will update under your Earnings tab as well.
Most major banks like Wells Fargo or Chase may process on the same day. Usually, once you've completed a delivery 2 - 5 deliveries, they know the source of funds and will process faster. We are working to further trim the time to posting.

Please read the order entirely. Ensure your customer is happy so that you are highly rated. Do not bid on orders you cannot fulfill on your customers schedule. It leads to negative reviews. No-shows result in a permanent ban.

Yes, your Driver can pick items on your behalf at any of our Retail Partner stores. Just let the retail store know that a Phlatbed driver will be picking up the item. We recommend you post and approve a driver pickup first before buying the item. This way, everyone works around your schedule.
Once you select a driver;
Yes, the Driver will meet you where you are, whether you’re at an IKEA, Home Depot, Best Buy, or at Home, or at a tag sale. Wherever you are, the Driver will meet you there to complete the move.
Ensure your moving job contains enough details for your driver. Expect your driver to be there on time once you have booked the moving job. Expect the driver to load the items, drive them to your destination, and unload the items. Also expect mutual feedback, so be nice to each other.
Here’s the short answer: Drivers earn 75% of every completed job.

Drivers respond with how much they are willing to charge in response to customer requests.
You drive less and make more. The more jobs you take, the more money you make.
You get paid at the completion of every job. Funds are automatically deposited into your account.
For even quicker payment, you should set up your Stripe account in the App. This connects your checking account to immediately receive funds when you complete jobs.
Via Stripe, you can also manage how much and when you transfer funds into your checking account.

Every Driver is screened with a full background check including Federal, State, Local, and Driving history including criminal and Sex Offender Registry checks. We also verify their drivers license, and vehicle insurance. Safety first! You can also read their reviews, and ratings by other users.
No, you will not receive Form 1099-MISC, or a W2 from Phlatbed for completed deliveries because you would not be classified as an employee. For more information, see IRS Publication 15 and/or 15-A. For payments facilitated by the Phlatbed app.
Refer to IRC 6041, which states that payors are not required to file the informational return Form 1099-MISC with respect to payment transactions because the transaction is a third party network transaction, facilitated by the Phlatbed app, which is subject to reporting under IRC 6050W, not the traditional 1099-MISC reporting under 6041.
As a Driver or Customer, you should always have as much information and very clear pictures of yourself, and your vehicle on your profile. The clearer your information is, the more jobs you get!

You install the App, then sign into the App. If you've forgotten your password, you can use the Forgot Password

No, Drivers are not Phlatbed employees, neither are Drivers full-time or part time employees. Drivers are independent contractors, you make your own hours, time, and utilize your own vehicle and tools, in addition to choosing which moving requests to respond to or not respond to.

As a Driver or Customer, Payment is completed immediately after job completion. So it's important for Drivers to set up their payment account to receive payment for completed jobs within the mobile App.

As a Customer - Once you post an order, it goes live immediately. Drivers near you will immediately see your posting, and will respond on the spot! You will then select which Driver you want to complete the order, upon completion, you provide feedback, job done!
Every driver is cleared - Background, Federal, State, Local, Sex Offender Registry, Drivers License, Vehicle Registration, and Liability Insurance. Phlatbed disqualifies driver applicants for any violent crime, sexual offence, felony, drug related convictions that appear on background checks. Additionally, Phlatbed offers moving coverage on the first $300 on the value of any damaged item during a moving job, in addition to ensuring that both the drivers insurance carrier on file (and associated insurance industry notification databases) AND local law enforcement authorities are duly informed on every claim whether it be damage or theft or otherwise. We also carry a $1,000,000 business liability insurance.

Drivers are only providing door to door moving services, some people call it curb to curb. Drivers are not expected to move items into your innermost dwellings. This is at the discretion of the driver, so be nice to each other

Clear pictures and as much information on your order will get you good responses. Drivers want to know as much as possible about your order before responding. Include as much details as possible, good pictures are very important!
Editing your profile is easy. At the top right part of the page, after signing in;
Notice: While you may be able to update parts of your profile, other areas will require you reaching out to us to change. Particularly for Drivers. This may prompt a new background screening process, depending on the impact of the change. If you signed up using Facebook, ensure your Facebook name matches what is on your legal documents.

Your photo is your main introduction. We recommend you upload a handful of photos of you and your vehicle. This will be the vehicle you use on every moving job if you are a driver. For Customers, this is the photo your driver sees when picking you up. Please ensure clear photos to ensure clarity and familiarity when the driver arrives to help you move your item!
If you signed up with a Facebook account, your profile photo is the same as your Facebook photo by default. Whether you created your account with a phone number or Facebook, here's how to change your photo:
Only your first name is shown to drivers. Drivers never see your last name.
Facebook login: Your name is the same one on your Facebook account. Change your name in Facebook to update your name in the app.
Your email address is where we send your ride receipts and confirmations.
Facebook login: Your default email is the same as your email address on Facebook. Tap 'Settings' in the app to change it.
Phone number login: Change your email address in the 'Settings' tab.

Look at the Driver’s quote and profile since you will receive multiple responses for orders.Take a few moments to compare profiles, ratings, reviews etc before selecting which Driver you want to help you complete your order.
Look at the Customer's profile and Job posting.
As a Driver, you should also look at the Customer's profile, job posting details, and Customer reviews.
Reviews are important!
Driver and Customer reviews offer valuable information on their timeliness, accuracy on profile details (vehicle), performance, communication, and quality of work after the order is completed. Since every Driver is screened and their backgrounds cleared before being eligible to respond to orders, Customers also provide additional feedback beyond the safety and eligibility screening. Drivers also provide feedback on Customers as well, so it’s a complete ecosystem of mutual feedback loops!
Pictures are always worth 1,000 words.
Quality pictures are important, both on your Driver profile, and as a Customer on your profile or on every order job posting. Quality pictures elicit good responses, people are more likely to take action when the presentation is carefully managed.
Use Sound Judgment!
Do not automatically select a Driver with the lowest price. Also, do not automatically select job postings with the highest price. You may want to look closely at the job, profile, responses, and reviews before responding or initiating communication.
Immediately get help if you feel unsafe, or have any kind of trouble. Call 911 first and always!
If any issues arise while your order is in process, resolving it with the Driver or Customer is usually successful. If this does not work, contact us as well!

Driver Requirements
Be at least 21 years old.
Pass online DMV and background checks.
Use either a laptop or a mobile device (an iPhone or Android smartphone)
Reside in the State where you intend to drive
Vehicle Requirements
Meet your city’s vehicle age requirement
Have a truck (pickup), SUV, VAN in good condition
Legally registered in State on Drivers License

Document Requirements
